Jay Kennedy-Harris (born 21 March 1995) is an Australian rules footballer with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
A small forward, he co-captained the Oakleigh Chargers, the first indigenous player to captain a TAC Cup side, and represented Victoria Metro at the 2013 AFL Under-18 Championships.[1] He attended Trinity Grammar School and is studying science at the University of Melbourne.[2]
He had an acting role in the 2010 ABC1 series Dead Gorgeous, playing Charlie.
AFL career
Kennedy-Harris was drafted with pick 40 by the Melbourne Football Club in the 2013 AFL Draft. After impressing with three goals in the final quarter in a NAB Challenge match against Richmond, Kennedy-Harris made his debut in round 1 of the 2014 AFL season.[3] Kennedy Harris played 14 games in his first season, showing glimpses of his skill as a small forward who can occasionally run in the midfield.
