Javier Güemez López (born 17 October 1991) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays for Tijuana as a midfielder.

Club career

Born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Güemez kicked off his career with local club Dorados in 2010. Playing 66 league matches for the club, in 2013, he was transferred to Tijuana.[1]

International career

On 1 October 2014, Güemez was called to the national team for friendlies against Honduras and Panama.On 18 March 2015 Miguel Herrera named the 23 man squad for the friendlies against Ecuador and Paraguay naming Güemez making it his second call up for Mexico[2]
