Javidan Gurbanova (Azerbaijani: Cavidan Qurbanova, born on 1 November 1990 in Baku), is an Azerbaijani beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Azerbaijan 2014 and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.
Personal life
Gurbanova graduated from Baku State University in Baku.[1] At present she works in sales and consulting, while she is the reigning Miss Azerbaijan 2014. In 2014 she was crowned as Miss Bahar 2014 and competed at the Miss Azerbaijan beauty pageant in Baku.
Miss Azerbaijan 2014
On 8 June 2014 Gurbanova was crowned as the new titleholder of Miss Azerbaijan 2014 in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.[2][3] During her reign, Gurbanova traveled around Azerbaijan to fulfill her responsibilities as Miss Azerbaijan 2014.
On 18 July 2014, the reigning Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler, and the President of Miss Universe Organization, visited Azerbaijan. Gurbanova accompanied them in Baku for a meeting and business programs.[4]
In 2013, Aysel Manafova represented Azerbijan at the Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow, Russia. Gurbanova was the second representative at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant in Doral, Florida. In early December, the Miss Universe Organization published the 2014 official contestants, but Azerbaijan was not included. In the same month, it was reported that Gurbanova will compete at Miss Universe 2015 pageant instead.[5]

Javidan placed as the 3rd Runner-up of Queen of the Universe 2015 in Spain.
Miss Universe 2015
Javidan will represent Azerbaijan at Miss Universe 2015,[6] where she will compete to succeed the current titleholder, Paulina Vega of Colombia.
