Jared A. Ball is an associate professor of communication studies at Morgan State University in Baltimore in the U.S. state of Maryland. He is also an author, radio host and mixtape radio producer.
Education and career
Ball is a graduate of University of Maryland at College Park and Cornell University. Ball is author of I Mix What I Like! A Mixtape Manifesto[1] and co-editor of A Lie of Reinvention: Correcting Manning Marable's Malcolm X[2] a critique of Manning Marable's Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention.[3] He has also been known for his work on Pacifica Radio and Black Agenda Report.[4]
