Japan Basketball Association

The Japan Basketball Association (JBA) (Japanese: 日本バスケットボール協会) is the governing body of basketball in Japan. Formed in 1930, it is based in Tokyo. The JBA is a member of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and FIBA Asia. JBA was suspended by the FIBA Central Board on 25 November 2014.^[1]

The federation also organizes the Japan national basketball team and the Japan women's national basketball team.
