Jankampet Junction is one of the three railway stations which serves the city of Nizamabad in Telangana state of India. It is just to the south of the junction where the branch railway from Bodhan meets the Secunderabad–Nizamabad–Manmad railway line.
Jankampet railway station is situated 10 kilometers away from Nizamabad city.It falls in Hyderabad Division under the South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways.As of 2015,due to high urbanisation and extension of Nizamabad city limits,the Jankampet Junction railway station along with Dichpally railway station were added under the jurisdiction of Nizamabad,making the total number of stations in the Nizamabad city to 3.[1]
