Janice Garvey (née Barron) is a fictional character in the ITV sitcom Benidorm. The wife of Mick, mother of Chantelle and Michael, and the daughter of Madge.

Backstory

Within the show, Janice is one of the eight daughters born to Madge Harvey and her first husband, Mr. Barron. She has seven sisters - Jackie, Cheryl, Sharon, Mandy, Maureen, Valda and the late Olga. Janice is the only daughter who hasn't 'abandoned' Madge - in real life, she alienated the lot of them. Janice loves her mother deeply, and can't bear the thought of her dying or leaving the family.
