Janice Elliott

Janice Elliott (1931-1995) was an English writer and journalist.[1] She was born in Derbyshire and raised in Nottingham. She studied English at St. Anne's College, Oxford University. She pursued a career in journalism, working for House and Garden and the Sunday Times among others. She became a full-time writer in 1962. She published numerous books, starting with her debut novel Cave With Echoes.

She was married to Robert Cooper, an oil executive and sailor, and lived in Partridge Green, Sussex, for many years before retiring to Cornwall. She died in 1995.
