Janet Landgard is an American actress, model, and cover girl who was born on December 2, 1947 in Pasadena, California[1] and who has also resided in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.[2] Landgard starred in the 1968 cult film written and directed by Eleanor and Frank Perry, The Swimmer, featuring Burt Lancaster. Landgard was also a regular on the popular 1960s television series, The Donna Reed Show. The Donna Reed Show was one of television's top 25 shows in 1963-1964.[3][4][5] She also starred in 1969’s Land Raiders with Telly Savalas and the 1974 film, Moonchild, with Victor Buono.[6]

Landgard was interviewed for the behind-the-scenes documentary directed by Academy Award-winner Chris Innis, The Story of the Swimmer, which was featured on the 2014 Grindhouse Releasing/Box Office Spectaculars Blu-ray/DVD restoration of The Swimmer.[7][8]
