Janardhanavaram

Janardhanavaram is a village in Chatrai Mandal, 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Mandal Headquarters, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Janardhanavaram is a small village which was 3km away from chatrai mandal District Krishna and it was named after Lord Janardaneswara (Shiva). It is border with Khammam and West Godavari districts. The nearest bus stand is Vissannapet. The nearest town is Nuzvid at South side, Tiruvur at West side and Sathupalli (Khammam district) at north side. In olden days of the 19th century, some farmers dig well for cultivation at that time in that dig Shivalingam, Nandi rock statues were available then they placed all those in a small hut and start do pooja and they started to celebrate "Shivarathri" as big festival. it consists total 2000 voters and 2500 population all villagers are moving very friendly with others and all religions and casts exist here.

It contains a bus facility from Nuzvidu and Tiruvru it is nearer to Nuzvid road railway station at 30 km but this is small station which is for passenger trains; this station located in between Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam. Vempadu major canal goes through this village which is coming from Nagarjunasagar dam.
