Jan Terri, (born Janice Spagnolia;[1] June 17, 1959) is an American musician from Chicago, Illinois.

Early life and career

Terri graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 1983 with a degree in broadcast communications and arts and entertainment management and worked as a limousine driver from 1988 to 2002.[3]

Terri had also performed at parties for rock musician Marilyn Manson. Some footage of her as an opening act can be viewed in Manson's God is in the TV collection.[4]

In 2000, Terri was interviewed by Stacey Grenrock-Woods for Comedy Central's The Daily Show, and soon after took a hiatus from recording to care for her mother.

Later career

In December 2011 Terri released her first single in over a decade, with an accompanying video titled "Excuse My Christmas". The single appears on the album Wild One.[5]

In 2013, Terri released the album No Rules, which featured the single "Skyrockets".[6]

In 2014, Terri released her fifth studio album Holiday Songs. The album featured the single "Ave Maria", with an accompanying video. Also in 2014, she performed on the Punk Bunny single "We Love You (feat. Jan Terri)". She subsequently appeared in the song's video.[7]
