Jan Mayen hotspot
The Jan Mayen hotspot is believed to be a volcanic hotspot responsible for the volcanic activity that has formed the island of Jan Mayen in the northern Atlantic Ocean.[1] Some scholars dispute Jan Mayen was formed by a hotspot.
