Jan-Erik Lundström

Jan-Erik Lundström (born 1958) is a Swedish curator and the co-curator of the 3rd Bucharest Biennale.[1]

Biography

Lundström is a lecturer, curator, organizer, and writer. A few of his latest exhibitions include "Politics of Place", "Killing Me Softly" (Tirana Biennial[2]), "Projects for a Revolution" (Mois de la Photo,[3] Montreal), "Double Vision" (Prague Biennial),[4] "Same, Same, but Different" and "After the Fact", a major survey towards documentary practices in contemporary art.

Books

He is the author of numerous books, including Nordic Landscapes, Tankar om fotografi (Thoughts on Photography), Irving Penn and Horizons: Towards a Global Africa.

Teaching and Writing

Both a guest professor at HISK, Antwerp, Belgium and at the Kunstakademie, Oslo, Norway, Lundström is also a busy lecturer and writer internationally, a contributor to various symposia and to art and idea magazines such as Glänta,[5] European Photography, Paletten[6] and tema celeste.[7]
