Jamie Quinn (actor)
Jamie Quinn is a Scottish actor. He is best known for playing the roles of Fergie in Still Game and Private Kevin "Mac" McDowell in Bluestone 42.
Early life
Quinn was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in nearby Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.
He trained at the Drama Centre London.
Career
Quinn began his career playing the role of Fergie in the Scottish sitcom Still Game, a role which he played for five series.[1] His other television credits include Coming Up, Taggart, Casualty and River City.
On stage, Quinn appeared in the role of Fraz in the award-winning production of Black Watch with the National Theatre of Scotland.[2] Since 2013, Quinn has starred in the BBC Three comedy Bluestone 42, playing the role of Private Kevin "Mac" McDowell.[3][4][5]
