James S. Norris (1810–1874) was a Democratic politician from Minnesota Territory and a former member of the Minnesota Territory House of Representatives, representing Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Norris served as Speaker of the Minnesota Territory House of Representatives in 1855. In 1870, Norris served in the Minnesota House of Representatives.[1]
