James Partridge

James Partridge (born 1953)[1] OBE is the founder and Chief Executive of the charity Changing Faces. He is also a member of the chief medical officer's expert panel on cosmetic surgery. Partridge suffered severe burns in a car accident at the age of 18. On 20 September 2013, at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, Partridge was honoured with the Lifetime Achiever Award at The National Diversity Awards.[2]

Changing Faces Charity

Changing Faces is a United Kingdom charity supporting and representing children, young people and adults who have disfigurements to the face, hands or body, whether present from birth or caused by accident, injury or by illness or medical episode. It campaigns to change public opinion and combat discrimination, and to help and support those with a visual difference.

Channel 5

On Monday 16 November 2009 Partridge fronted the lunchtime bulletin for a week for Channel 5 in an attempt to try to break down prejudice.[3][4]
