James Fernandes (born 26 June 1994) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Salgaocar F.C. in the I-League.
Career
Born in Goa, India, Fernandes first started his career for Salgaocar F.C. during the Manchester United Premier Cup in 2008.[1] In 2013, Fernandes helped lead Salgaocar to the U18 championship[2] before playing for the Salgaocar U19 side in the I-League U20 championship.[3]
Fernandes eventually made his senior professional debut for Salgaocar on 23 January 2015 in the I-League against Royal Wahingdoh. He came on in the 83rd minute for Karma Tsewang as Salgaocar lost the match 0–1.[4]
