James Fairlie Cooper
James Fairlie Cooper was the third superintendent of the Dahlonega Mint.[1]
He was a graduate of West Point. He became the third superintendent of the Dahlonega Mint in 1843 and remained in the position until 1849.[1]
Forty-four percent of the mint's coinage was struck during his tenure.[1]
