James F. Rothenberg

James F. Rothenberg (born 1946), "a leading figure in the investment world",[1] has served as president and director of Capital Research and Management Co. (a principal subsidiary of the Capital Group Companies Inc.) and as investment adviser to American Funds.[1] A native of Pittsburgh, Rothenberg is an alumnus of both Harvard College and Harvard Business School and is currently the treasurer of Harvard University and a member of the Harvard Corporation.[1] He is also a trustee of the California Institute of Technology[2] and a member of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation.
