James Michael Drew (also known as Jim Drew) is an American hip hop producer. He is the founder and owner of Soulspazm, Inc., a record label and digital distribution company, since 1999[1][2] and co-owner of Phil’s Steaks, a cheesesteak truck Jawn, since 2012.[3]

Early life and education

Originally from Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Drew attended Friends Select School and began DJing in high school. He attended Boston University, receiving a Bachelors degree in International Relations, and later earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Fordham University.

Career

Drew has worked with Marco Polo, Dice Raw, Exile, Torae, Ropeadope Records, The Gregory Brothers, Rawkus Records, Decon, Dirt Disciples, Muckiness Child,[4] Brown Bag Allstars, J57, [5] Pumpkinhead, Madkem & Analogic, Blame One, DJ Skizz, Hannibal Stax, Mela Machinko, Malcom and Martin, Koncept, DJ Jean Maron, Ruste Juxx, Boog Brown, Greg Porn, Craig G and more.
