James Ronald Chalker (October 12, 1912 – August 17, 2003) was a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral districts of Harbour Grace and St. Barbe North in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly from 1949 to 1962. He was a member of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador.[1] A businessman, he was born at St. John's.[2] He served in Joey Smallwood's cabinet for 22 years and at the time of his death was the last surviving former Smallwood Cabinet member.[3][4]
