Jahrome Hughes (born 8 October 1994) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer for the Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Cup. He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League. He primarily plays fullback.
Background
Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Hughes played his junior football for Harbour City and the Currumbin Tugan Seahawkes before being signed by the Gold Coast Titans. As a youngster, he played for the Queensland Schoolboys.
Playing career
In 2012 and 2013, Hughes played for the Gold Coast Titans' NYC team.[1]
In Round 17 of the 2013 NRL season, Hughes made his NRL debut for the Titans against the Penrith Panthers.[2]
In 2015, Hughes joined the new Intrust Super Cup side, the Townsville Blackhawks, after not being offered a new contract by the Titans.[3]
