Jade Sheedy

Jade Sheedy (born 18 December 1979)^[1] is an Australian Rules Footballer with the Sturt Football Club in the SANFL. Recruited to Sturt from the Mildura football club Imperials in 2000 he was a member of the Sturt premiership team of 2002. He won the 2002 Magarey Medal with teammate Tim Weatherald, Jade captained the State football team in 2008 and 2009^[2] and has been the Sturt captain since 2007 (Co-Capitan with Ben Nelson from 2007 to 2010) Jade has played over 200 games for the club .^[3]

Notes

Jade has now played 250 games for the Sturt Football Club.

The Magarey Medal has been awarded since 1898 to the "best and most brilliant" player in the South Australian National Football League and its various incarnations.
