Jackie Ibañez is an overnight breaking news anchor for Fox News Channel (FNC). She joined FNC from News 12 Connecticut in December, 2014.[3]

Professional career

After graduation from college, Ibañez began her professional career as a producer with WWLP-TV, Springfield, Massachusetts as a producer in 2007. She was promoted from producer, to reporter, to anchor within 4 months.[2] She left broadcast journalism in 2010, joining Coltrin & Associates, a public relations firm in New York City as a managing director.[2]

Ibañez returned to television as a news anchor for News 12 Connecticut in 2012, anchoring three live morning broadcasts.[2]

Personal

Born in Utah, Ibañez graduated from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut in 2007. She has a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, she interned with NBC Sports in New York City during 2006. She also was a student correspondent for MSNBC News during 2006-2007. She is married, with a daughter born in 2012.[2]
