Jack Salter is a semi professional football/Soccer player who currently plays for Stirling Lions in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia or previously known as the Football West State League
Career
Salter began his footballing with Birkenhead United whom he spent three years with gaining recognition fast. He scored over 50 goals for the club and gained player of the year twice and the golden boot twice. In 2010 Salter played for Waitakere United in the National Youth League with whom he won the league and title.In 2012 Salter captained Birkenhead United to the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 1title. Salter moved to Perth to sign for Armadale SC in 2013 with whom he scored 7 goals in 13 games, a season cut short from injury. In 2014 Salter signed with Stirling Lions in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. Salter signed with Team Wellington for the rest of the 2014/2015 NZFC season.
Honours
Salter was selected in the initial squad for the NZ U23 Olympics team, however was unsuccessful in making the final cut. He also represented NZ u17 schoolboys who toured Europe and finished 4th in a European youth cup, competing against VfB Stuttgart and Dinamo Zagreb
Position
Salter plays behind the striker but can play upfront or as a holding midfielder.
