Jack Petoskey was an American football player and coach in the United States. He served as the head coach at Hillsdale College from 1949 to 1950 and at Western Michigan University from 1953 to 1956, compiling a career college football record of 19323.

Coaching career

Petoskey was the head college football coach for the Hillsdale Chargers located in Hillsdale, Michigan. He held that position for the 1949 and 1950 seasons. His coaching record at Hillsdale was 11 wins, 7 losses and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #9 at Hillsdale in total wins and #10 at the school in winning percentage (.605).[1]

Before going to Hillsdale he was head football coach at St. Joseph MI HS in 1947-48, where his record was 7-5-3.
