Jabouilleia is a genus of scimitar babblers, placed in the Pellorneidae family. They are jungle birds with long downcurved bills. Until recently, two species were recognized. It has since been determined the Naung Mung scimitar babbler is considered a subspecies of the short-tailed scimitar babbler, making it monotypic.
