Jaborri

Jabori (alternative spellings include Jaborri and Jabbori) is a small village in Mansehra District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan^[1] surrounded by mountains. The village is also the administrative centre of Jabori Union Council. The literacy rate is growing gradually,Swati Pakhtoons are educated and are serving the people in government as well as in the private sector. People are hardworking and simple.

The population is about 30,000, Khund Bangla, Shaheed Parhnee Moosey ka Masala are nice places for hiking. These places have rest houses built by the British Government when they ruled India and after that no construction. buildings are same and roads are same. In the heart of the village the River Siran flows that makes this village like heaven with beautiful huge mountains. Most of the people are formers. Different tribes (Swati, Gujjar, Syed) lives here.the SWATI(Pashtoons) tribe dominate this area,the tribe is a land owning group in this area,they are the Land Lords.

The village has numerous problems, in 1992 it was heavily flooded, in October 2005 it was struck by an earthquake - the effects of which are have had an impact on the people. There is no hospital in the whole valley.
