Jabhook is a German dramedy that is broadcast since the year 2010 as a web series. Alongside the series will take place live events at which the story is told.

Plot

The boxing promoters Highroller and Tank are the fathers of the box gala Night of the Raging Bulls (NOTRB) and Chief of the International Boxing Association Raging Bulls Federation (IRBF). After a brief hiatus tank decides to return from Africa and tears Highrollers from lethargy. They decide to cash in a shady businessman, the Caucasian, to borrow to pay for their new empire shine. But when their exclucive deal with pay TV channels BBN conclude, it is clear that the station staff Toothferry with the business lady Donna König invents a plan. They want to steal Highroller and Tank's boxing dojo and take power at BBN. The two boxing promoter get from the impending calamity with nothing and still plan to continue their great live event in Berlin.

The series is produced by Sönke Andersen and Frank Dahlmann for the Cologne-based company A³ GmbH. The series was written and directed by Christopher Becker and Daniel Rakete Siegel. The team includes also Peter Hümmeler, Stephan Schiffers, Paul Pieck, Nicole Kortlüke, Stefen Schmitt and Jens Nolte. The series is broadcast on a platform of sports portal Sport1.de.

Reception

Christian Parth described NOTRB in the magazine Stern as "the only remarkable event for amateur boxers in Germany".[1]
