JK business
In Japanese culture, JK business is a way to conceal prostitution by adolescent girls. The abbreviation JK stands for joshi kōsei (joshi kousei) and means "high school female student". Typically it looks as follows. A cute (kawaii) girl gives out leaflets inviting for a "JK walk" (JKお散歩 JK-no sanpō), and quite often this walk leads straight into an apartment house. Earlier the offered service was "refresh business". When police cracked down on it, "sanpō business" arose, when a girl is paid for supposedly walking and talking. When police figured out all about "JK walk", now it is "fortune telling". [1] [2]
