The JGR Class 5100 was a type of 4-4-0 steam locomotive used on Japanese Government Railways. The locomotives were built by Kitson and Company in 1874 and imported from England as 0-6-0 tank locomotives. Infobox specifications reflect rebuilding in the JNR shops at Kobe to 4-4-0 wheel arrangement with separate tenders.[1]
