JECRC University is a private university[2] located in the city of Jaipur, in Rajasthan in India. The university is located at Sitapura Industrial Area. It is established under the Act No.15/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan, Notification FIL2 (23) Vidhi/2/2012, dated 02/05/2012. Private University Estd. in Rajasthan State by Act No . 15 of year 2012. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
History
The JECRC Foundation was established 15 years ago to promote education in engineering, science, management, pharmacy and pure and applied sciences. The foundation started its journey with the setting up of Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre (JECRC) which is one of the reputed engineering college of Rajasthan after MNIT Jaipur and BITS Pilani. This was the first step and it laid to the setting up of many more colleges like:
- Uttam Devi Mohan Lal College of Engineering (UDML) situated at Delhi-Jaipur highway
- Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Applied Sciences (MGIaS)
- JECRC Business Schools.
- Collaboration with University of Alabama
