J. Alan Holman
J. Alan Holman (1931-2006) was an American paleontologist and herpetologist who is best known for his 1995 work called Pleistocene Amphibians and Reptiles in North America which was published by Oxford Press and is still being used till this day. He used to teach at the Michigan State University as a professor emeritus till he retired and later died on August 16, 2006 in Lawrence, Kansas.[1]
