Jürgen Mayer-Hermann (born 1965 in Stuttgart) (also known as Jürgen Mayer H.) is a German architect and artist. He is the leader of the architecture firm "J. MAYER H." in Berlin.

Early life and education

He studied at Stuttgart University, The Cooper Union and at Princeton University.[1]

Art

His work has been published and exhibited worldwide and is part of international collections including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) New York and San Francisco.[2]

Awards

Jürgen Mayer H. received the Mies-van-der-Rohe Award for emerging architects in 2003 for Stadthaus Ostfildern, Germany, and won the Holcim Award Bronze for the European region in 2005 for the Metropol Parasol in Seville, Spain.[3] In 2011 he was a regional jury member for the Holcim Awards.[4]
