Iva Videnova (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Ива Виденова; born October 17, 1987 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian chess Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and International Master for Men (IM). Her current chess clubs are "Lokomotiv-2000" from Plovdiv, Bulgaria with which she has won two national championships, "Schwäbisch Hall" from Schwäbisch Hall,Germany and "Liburnija" from Rijeka, Croatia.

In 2010, Videnova earned the title of Woman International Master (WIM), the title of Woman Grandmaster in 2011, and the title of International Master in 2015.

Iva Videnova starts playing chess at the age of four, but only at the age of 13 she for a first time plays in official chess tournament. In 2002 she won the Bulgarian Youth (girls under 16) championship, and in 2006 she won the Bulgarian Women (under 20) championship. In 2007 and 2008 Videnova became the Bulgarian Women Blitz Chess Champion. In the Bulgarian Women Chess Championship she scored 3-rd place in 2008, 4-th in 2009, 3-rd in 2001, and in 2012, 2013 and 2014 she becomes the Bulgarian Women Chess champion.

Videnova has so far represented her country in six major chess championships - the European Team Chess Championship, which was held in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2009 (scoring 2.5/8 on Board 4),[1] the 2010 Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia (achieving 4/10 on Board 4),[2] the 2011 European Team Chess Championship hosted within the Porto Carras resort in Greece (managing 6/9 on Board 2 and earning bronze medal),[3] 40th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul, 2012 (finishing with 4/9 points on Board 2).,[4] European Team Chess Championship held in Polish capital Warsaw, 2013.,[5] as well as the 41st Chess Olympiad 2014 which took place in Tromsø, Norway.[6] (scoring 5,5/10 on Board 2).
