It Takes Two is the debut album released by hip hop duo Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock. It was released in 1988 for Profile Records and featured production from DJ E-Z Rock, Rob Base, Donald "O" Bowden and Thomas Dean. Both the album and the title track/single were certified platinum by the RIAA on June 12, 1989 and December 28, 1989, respectively. In 2009, it showed up in the blockbuster Disney romantic comedy, The Proposal, starring Sandra Bullock.
