It Burns Clean is the second EP by hardcore band Stretch Arm Strong on Reflections Records.[2]

Background

Stretch Arm Strong originally recorded these songs for a split release with Shai Hulud on Stillborn Records; however, it was scrapped before an official release.[3] The band, eventually, sent the unreleased songs out to various labels, catching the interest of both Tooth and Nail Records and Victory Records. They signed to Solid State Records, a Tooth and Nail Subsidiary, in 1999 and re-recorded these four songs for their second full length album, Rituals of Life.

Packaging

The EP contains a written forward, explaining the context of the recordings and thanking the fans for the continued support. Each songs is also given an individual paragraph, after the lyrics, breaking down the meaning of the song and adding any extra thoughts that came to mind. The booklet also features live photos of each member, taken at different shows that the band played.
