Israel is scheduled to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016.
Sailing

Israel has qualified one boat for each of the following events upon receiving a place from the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships.[1]
- Men's sailboard – RS:X (Nimrod Mashich)
- Women's sailboard – RS:X (Maayan Davidovich)
Swimming

Israeli swimmers have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following events (up to a maximum of 2 swimmers in each event at the Olympic Qualifying Time (OQT), and potentially 1 at the Olympic Selection Time (OST)):[2][3]
- Olympic Qualifying Time
- Men's 200 m backstroke – 1 quota place (Yakov-Yan Toumarkin)
- Men's 200 m individual medley – 1 quota place (Yakov-Yan Toumarkin)
- Women's 100 m breaststroke – 1 quota place (Amit Ivry)
