Isotrias rectifasciana, the Hedge Shade, is a species of moth of the Tortricidae family. It is found in Great Britain, the Benelux, France, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania and Greece,[2] as well as Turkey and Russia.
The wingspan is 11–16 mm. Adults are sexually dimorphic. Males are larger and have less distinct forewing markings.[3] Adults are on wing from May to the end of June and again from August to October in two generations per year.[4]
Larvae have been reared on Crataegus, Acer and Quercus species.[5] They feed from within a silken tube on the underside of a leaf.[6]
