Islington Gazette
The Islington Gazette is a weekly paid-for newspaper covering news relating to the borough of Islington in north London, UK. It was established in 1856 and was owned by Independent News & Media until the early 21st century when it was bought by Archant.
On 21 September 2006 the Islington Gazette celebrated its 150th birthday. The Islington Gazette is published weekly on a Thursday, which covers news locally in Islington and neighbouring boroughs for example Hackney and Haringay. The newspaper is a weekly paid newspaper which can also be collected for free from participating Mcdonald restaurants in Islington. The newspaper gives readers the opportunity to be informed of news and events that are taking place in the local community.
