Islambek Yerzhanuly Kuat (Kazakh: Исламбек Ержанұлы Қуат; born January 12, 1993) is a Kazakhstani footballer who plays as a midfielder for Kairat and Kazakhstan national under-21 football team. He primarily plays as an central midfielder.[1]

Career

Kuat began his career at Okzhetpes of the Kazakhstan First Division in 2011. He played 26 games for them and helped to place 2nd overall in championship. After the season, he awarded as Kazakhstan First Division's the best young player of the year.[2] Next year, he transferred to Aktobe of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of football in Kazakhstan. In 2012 season, Kuat recorded 15 appearances and scored 1 goal. In 2013, Kuat joined to Astana.[3]

On 23 June 2014, Kuat signed a 2.5 year contract with FC Kairat in the Kazakhstan Premier League.[4]
