Isaiah Anderson (born December 19, 1989) is an American football Wide Receiver for the Oklahoma Defenders of the Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL). He played college football at the Oklahoma State University.

High school career

One of the fastest members of the 2008 recruiting class and an honorable mention Class 4A all-stater (Associated Press) and a two-time all-district selection. Had 55 receptions for 877 yards as a senior with 11 touchdowns and 49 catches for 770 yards as a junior. He played on an 8-4 team as a senior and a state track qualifier in the 100 meters, and also played basketball.

College career

Anderson was redshirted in 2008. In 2009, he saw action in 10 games as a receiver and on special teams and had a lone reception of the season that went for 23 yards against Grambling State. In 2010, his sophomore year he played in 11 games. He had two receptions in the Fiesta Bowl and started the final six games of the season his junior season. As a Senior in 2010, Anderson suffered a slow-down due to injury. Led OSU in its bowl win with five catches covering 78 yards, including a 37-yard TD catch and ended the season with an average of 18.5 yards per reception.

Ran track for the Cowboys during the spring of 2009 and was clocked at 4.39 in the 40 and he was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection.

Professional career

On November 26, 2013, Anderson was signed by the Oklahoma Defenders of the Champions Professional Indoor Football League for their upcoming season that kicks-off on March 1, 2014

Personal life

Anderson's parents are Leslie Logan and Lorraine Anderson. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. He majored in Secondary education at Oklahoma State University. Anderson is the father of two sons, Isaiah Marquell Anderson Jr. and Damon Paul Anderson.
