Irving Fish

Irving Fish was a major general in the United States Army.

Biography

Fish was born Irving Andrews Fish in Racine, Wisconsin in 1881.[1] In 1903, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He died in 1948.

Career

Fish joined the Wisconsin National Guard in 1903. During World War II, Fish served in the Regular Army. Afterwards, he transferred to the United States Army Reserve and in 1927, he returned to the Wisconsin National Guard. During World War II, Fish transferred back to the Regular Army.
