Ironman is a patented appliance by Siemens to iron shirts rapidly. It consists of a device that produce hot air which is fed into an inflatable and porous upper body shaped former. It can iron a shirt in approximately 10 minutes.[1] [2] It is suitable for most shirt sizes (XS-4XL) and blouse sizes (S-XXL) made of silk, viscose, cotton, linen, flannel and all other non-stretch materials. The appliance uses lower temperature rather than standard ironing which causes less stress to the fabric. Physical shape in its storage state is 45 x 36.5 x 119 cm and weighs 28 kg. [3]
