IronFX is a foreign exchange trading company based in Cyprus providing retail forex trading services. Founded in 2010 the company is a member of Eurex Exchange and is authorized by CySEC and the FCA in the UK, and uses MiFID to trade in other European Union countries.[2][3][4]

History

IronFX was founded in 2010 and is authorized by CySEC, the FCA, the FSB, the ASIC, the DFSA and is a member of Eurex Exchange.[5][6][7][8]

The company became a sponsor for the football club, FC Barcelona, in 2014.[9][10][11]

In November 2014, IronFX announced Spread Betting, a trading product for residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland.[12][13] The company introduced Multi-Asset Trader, a CFD trading platform, in March 2015.[14][15][16]

According to a Chinese TV report, IronFX received complaints from Chinese affiliates for payment issues.[17] In January 2015, 160 complaints were filed with the District Court of Limassol.[18]

According to the Wall Street Journal, IronFX is filing a confidential IPO in 2015, valued at $800 million.[19][20] The company confirmed its bid on Alpari UK in January 2015.[21][22]
