Irene F. Whittome, OC (born March 4, 1942) is a Canadian multi-media artist.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, she attended the Vancouver School of Art. She then spent five years studying printmaking at the Atelier 17 of Stanley William Hayter. She was made a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.[1] Since 1974, she has been a Professor of the visual arts in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Concordia University.

In 2004, she was made an Officer of the Order of Canada. In 1997, she was awarded the Prix du Québec's Prix Paul-Émile-Borduas.
