Irene Taylor Brodsky is an American documentary film maker. In her several projects, hers was the job of director, producer, writer, cinematographer and editor.[1]

Background

Brodsky graduated from New York University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

She says of herself that she likes to tell stories accurately, creatively and with integrity.[2] The context suggested by the featured characters in Brodsky's debut feature film raises the question: Does what she knows about storytelling derive from formal education or from a father who is fascinated by the sound of a carwash and a mother who savours the sound of waves on Lake Ontario?[3]

Brodsky's documentaries have appeared on HBO, CBS, A&E, Fox, and the History Channel. Special recognition for her work has included:
