Irene Perveen also known as Irene Parveen is a Pakistani playback singer from the 1960s, who mainly sung for Pakistani films.[1] She belonged to a Christian family. Parveen started her career in 1958's film Noor-e-Islam. Parveen had famous duets with Masood Rana and Ahmed Rushdi. Her main reason of popularity was her pair with singer Ahmed Rushdi. She was later the wife of Cecil Samuel, a man from a prominent Peshawari family. She sang many hit songs for the films, and made much impact in the East Pakistani Industry too. She has lived in England since 1983.
