The Ipswich 400 (currently known as the Coates Hire Ipswich 400) is a V8 Supercar event held annually at Queensland Raceway in Queensland, Australia. The event was first held in 2003 after the Queensland 500 was discontinued and the 500 km V8 Supercar race was moved back to Sandown Raceway in Victoria.

From 2003 to 2005, the event consisted of a single 300-kilometre race held on the Sunday of each weekend. The distance increased to 400 kilometres in 2006, with a 100-kilometre race held on Saturday and two 150-kilometre races held on Sunday. The format changed again for 2007 and 2008, with three 120-kilometre races held across the weekend. 2009 saw a two-race format used, with a 100-kilometre race held on Saturday and a 200-kilometre race held on Sunday. The format remained the same for 2010, except the Saturday race was increased to 120 kilometres. The three-race format returned in 2011, with two 70-kilometre races held on Saturday separated by a fifteen-minute 'service window',^[1] before a longer 200-kilometre race on Sunday.
