Intetics Co. is a software outsourcing provider based in Wilmette, Illinois, United States, with three development centers in Eastern Europe in Minsk, Belarus and Kharkiv and Kyiv, Ukraine. It has a branch office in Düsseldorf, Germany, and representative offices in Canada, Czech Republic, Japan and the UK. The company specializes in the establishment and operation of offshore dedicated teams for application development, GIS, systems integration, engineering, data processing and back-office support [1] and has shown dynamic growth according to Software Magazine.[2] The company supports several international conferences and technology communities, participates in industry research initiatives, and holds multiple professional certifications and industry awards.[3]

Community involvement

Intetics is one of the largest IT companies in Belarus,[4] and its accumulated IT-Industry knowledge has earned it interviews with Belorussian news sources like Tut.By.[5]

Intetics is the permanent partner of the Belarus Adobe Flash User Group and has helped the group with events like the "Flash Games as Business" conference.[6][7] It is a regional leader in implementing open GIS solutions to business processes.[8] In 2011 Intetics played a leading role in creating phpdev.by, a community of PHP developers in Belarus aiming to exchange information and experience with other programmers interested in using LAMP technologies.[9] All of the Intetics offices are part of the Microsoft User Group Community and Microsoft.NET.[10] Intetics also sponsored international outsourcing conferences such as the 2010 Sourcing Summit[11] and the Fusion CEO-CIO Symposium 2011.[12] It helped sponsor the Council of International Programs Chicago in January 2011, which helps people gain professional experience abroad. It is also the founder of the IT-Karting championship held annually in Minsk.[13]

Timeline

1995 Intetics founded in Minsk Belarus.

1997 Headquarters of the company are moved to Prague, Czech Republic. Company grew from 30 to 70 employees between 1997 and 2003 and works under brand name "Web Space Station".

2002-2003 The winner of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award in Central Europe for two years.[14]

2003 Headquarters are moved to the U.S. and company renamed Intetics.

2005 A second development center in Kharkiv, Ukraine is established.

2006-2007 Development centers are ISO 9001 certified. Intetics becomes a Microsoft Gold Partner[15] and participates in a number of other partner programs (Oracle, IBM, etc.)

2007-2008 Intetics is included in the Global Outsourcing Top 100 companies list compiled by the IAOP and Fortune magazine.[16]

2009 Intetics sets up a development center for GIS projects, it is one of the first such BPO centers set up in the Eastern European region.

2010 By the fifteenth anniversary of the company’s existence, the company has been awarded numerous excellence awards, including 2010 European IT Excellence Award.[17] The same year, the Belarusian production branch becomes a resident at the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park[18] to take advantage of government support for innovative technology companies in the country.

2011-12 Intetics becomes ISO/IEC 27001 certified. It is also ranked as #1 ‘Rising Star’ by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals in 2011 and 2012.[19][20]

In 2011, Intetics introduced the next generation ODT model, Remote In-Sourcing, which goes beyond the classic Client-Vendor relationship and mitigates a lot of risks of traditional outsourcing.[21]
